Scott grew up in Monroe and graduated from Monroe High School in 2000. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin in Madison, then lived and worked in Fond du Lac where he earned his Master’s degree from Marian University. Scott moved back to the area in 2012.

Scott, along with his wife Katie, who works as a dentist for Ganshert Dental Clinic in Monroe, and their three children reside in Monroe and are very active in their community.

Outside of work and family, Scott enjoys coaching Cross Country and Track & Field for Monroe High School where he is the head coach for both sports. He is a board member of the Green County Chapter UW Alumni Association, organizer for the local Turkey Trot, and a session member for Union Presbyterian Church.
